• Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• One weekend a month (3rd weekend)

About the Position:

We are currently seeking an experienced Hospital Housekeeper to join our team on a temporary basis. This position is critical for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring infection control within our medical facility. The successful candidate will work closely with our Infections Control Nurse to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning and disinfecting duties in patient rooms, surgical areas, offices, and common areas.
• Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
• Properly dispose of medical waste and handle cleaning chemicals safely.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Ensure all areas meet hospital cleanliness standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping experience in a hospital or medical facility is required.
• Knowledge of infection control procedures and protocols.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work one weekend per month.
