Inventory Assistant


Inventory Assistant

Bill Rate $15 

Monday- Friday 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm depending on the department.

We are currently looking for 2 temps to help with inventory work related to the Xstore POS rollout. 

Primary Duties:

  • Prepares Inventory Reconciliations according to the policies and procedures established by Inventory Accounting. 
  • Daily tracking and monitoring of inventory activity in the field and communication with the field regarding unusual adjustments. 
  • Responsible for supporting field management regarding Inventory Accounting questions.   
  • Responsible for certain month end and quarter end close duties. 
  • Obtains shipment information to verify accuracy of reports to be worked. 
  • Provide assistance in special projects and management requests as needed. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience and or college course work in accounting
  • Experience with personal computers to include Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in retail or inventory accounting preferred 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to problem-solve
  • Ability to work independently
